About Us

Asumbi Girls National School is situated in Gem Kajulu Location of Rangwe Sub-County (Division), Homabay County and sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Homabay. It is approximately 20Kms from Homabay town to the North West. It stands on a 25 acre piece of land.

ASUMBI GIRLS' NATIONAL SCHOOL

Asumbi Girls High School is a national girls boarding school managed by the school’s Board Of Governors. Asumbi Girls’ High School was started on 19th March 1936, by the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Saint Joseph as Lower Boarding Primary school, with a small population of pupils, sponsored by the Mill Hill missionaries of the then Catholic Diocese of Kisumu.
